How did you end up with Team NewCold?
Through my former track and field coach. He had seen a call on Facebook and forwarded it to me. I thought, 'Let me give it a try,' and that's how I ended up attending the test day.
What do you find the coolest about the sport you practice within Team NewCold?
The coolest thing about bobsleigh, I think, is the high speed, but also the risk you take in this sport because not many people dare to do it, and there's a chance that something might go wrong.
What is a unique trait/fact about yourself?
Even when I'm in a lot of pain, I can recover quickly and get back on track.
Do you have tips for young athletes who want to be successful in bobsleigh?
Don't be afraid and just go for it. Once you've tried it, you won't want to stop.
Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
I hope to participate in the Olympic Games and other major bobsleigh competitions. Furthermore, I would like to become a pilot myself.
What has been your biggest achievement within Team NewCold so far?
The Europe Cup in Winterberg with my pilot Robin Post. I loved being surrounded by all those people, and it was the first time we could start together in a competition. The prize we received was the first one I had ever received from bobsleigh, so it made it extra special.
